Okay ladies, today I bring you a wine that is about
one of our favorite things; shoes!
I mean, could there be anything better than drinking some wine
while shopping for high heels? How about a nice
pair of shiny black or red stilettos.
You are probably asking yourselves right now, how is
wine related to shoes? Well this company is called Shoe Crazy Wine.
In 2011, owner Gwen was introduced to the world of wine. It was a journey that would turn into a passion for wine. For the first five years she would attempt to master the art of wine making at her home. One day her daughter asked her; “What do you love and are passionate about?”
Gwen answered “shoes and wine” and Shoe Crazy Wine was born.
Now on to the wine.
Today I bring you two wines, one red and one white.
Their 2012 Chardonnay is a full body refreshing white wine with low
acidity, with notes of sour apple and pear on the nose melon and lime.
I would pair this wine with grilled fish or lime basil chicken.
Second on the list is Mendocino Red.
It is a bold blend of four different wines; Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel and Syrah. This is a well structured and tannic red wine with notes of chocolate and plum and on the nose pepper and leather.
I would pair this wine with beef or lamb.
So kick off your shoes and enjoy a glass!
