Wine & Books

Who doesn’t love to curl up on the couch with a good book and a glass of wine?

This week I am bringing you a little different blog post than usual. Every week I will be selecting a wine to go with a good book that I think you should read. What is the book that I am bringing you this week, you may ask? It is none other than Raine Miller’s Blackstone Affair Trilogy. Since the name is Blackstone I thought I would pair this book with Blackstone wine. This great story takes place In London. The two main characters are Ethan Blackstone and Brynne Bennett. Through their path to find love there are hardships and some obstacles that threaten to come between them. If you are looking for a modern romance with an old time twist, then you need to pick this book up. There are four books in this trilogy; Naked, All In, Eyes Wide Open and Rare and Precious Things.

Now onto the wine.
I pick red wines to go with this blog post cause let’s face it, red wine is sexy, and so are these books. I am bring you two wines today both of these are from Blackstone winery in California. This winery is famous for their Merlot and red wine collection such as their Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon. One of the great things about this winery is that you can’t go wrong with any of their wines! Two of my favorite are Merlot and Zinfandel. Both are very hardy, spicy, smooth wines that go perfectly with a summer BBQ. I would pair these wines with steak, BBQ wings, pizza, or even a nice chicken burger. Whichever one you chose, you can go wrong with these two wines.

So curl up on the couch with a glass of red wine and get lost in the world of Raine Miller
