October means Ghost Books & Wine

It’s my favorite time of the year, the month of October.

Time to get out the Halloween decorations and sip on pumpkin spice lattes.

I thought since its October I would do a special blog post this week with two of my favorite things.

One is reading books on ghost stories and hauntings from all around the world. while enjoying a new wine that I came across.

The name of the wine goes perfectly with Halloween, because it is called Ghost Pines. It comes from many different counties in California, including Napa, Sonoma, Monterey and San Joaquin Counties. Their red blend is a mix of varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, Petite Sirah, Zinfandel and Sangiovese. This makes for a very rich full flavored wine for a very good price. $21.99 is a great value for the varieties of different blends. It is considered a vintage since it was bottled in 2009, which also makes the flavor even better since the grapes have had longer to age.

You an find your wines on there site here

Be sure to cuddle up this month with a good old fashioned ghost story

and a delicious glass of Ghost Pines!
